In this session, network members Emma Meehan and Julie Hanna shared some practical work through simple seated body awareness and everyday movement. This aimed to introduce pain management programme staff to the idea of what somatic practices are, to look at how to facilitate awareness of movement habits and support shifting these, and to explore the impact of working with pain on your body as a healthcare professional.
